About Me
I was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia where I am thankful for the mild weather that allows me to get out and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us.
One of my favourite things to do is to walk the beach in the middle of the winter.

I consider myself a lifelong learner and am continually reading and taking advanced courses and seminars to hone my craft of counselling.

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have held various positions working with youth and adults. These include work with the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre, working in schools, and working in Mental Health and Substance Use. With these positions I gained an appreciation of feminist and social justice work which has stayed with me throughout my career.
Additionally, I have also volunteered with Citizen’s Counselling Centre for over 10 years providing individual, group and couples counselling for Victoria residents who otherwise might not be able to afford counselling.
Each of these experiences and positions has shaped my counselling and who I am as a person. I always feel deeply honoured to sit with my clients and hear their stories.
